Facial treatments designed for brides and adult acne.
“While dealing with acne and hyperpigmentation, it can be difficult to trust someone with your biggest insecurity.
All of her recommendations are supported by science and she even takes my skin tone into consideration when recommending products/services.
Finding Sophie has been my skin’s saving grace!”
— Isabelle
How we treat acne:
We assess your skin and goals, then build a treatment plan specific to you:
Corrective facials to clear breakouts and prevent new ones
Chemical peels to fade hyperpigmentation and refine texture
Gentle, event-prep treatments when timing matters
Product guidance tailored to your skin
Adjustments as your skin evolves
Our small team means continuity. You'll typically see the same esthetician, but if schedules require a switch, they'll already be briefed on your skin and progress.
Stop guessing and start treating your skin scientifically.
Adult acne is never just one thing—it's a complex combination of factors working together.
Understanding what's driving your breakouts requires expertise, not guesswork.
Sophie founded Face Space after years of struggling with her own acne. Now we offer the expert guidance and personalized approach she wished she'd had.
What to expect:
First visit: We assess your skin, discuss your goals, and perform your first treatment. No separate consultation is required, although one is available if you’d prefer.
Timeline: Some clients see immediate improvement, while others need more sessions. Consistency matters most: regular treatments every 2-6 weeks give us the best chance to clear your skin and keep it clear.
Even when results are gradual, clients tell us they feel more confident right away—not because their skin is perfect, but because they finally have a plan.
Investment: Facials range from $185-385.
Your Next Step: Book the New Client Facial Session below. We’ll choose a treatment together and help you feel confident caring for your skin.
“Sophie has changed my life.
I used to have such bad acne… she gave me my confidence back.”

I have only gone 3x for her services and my skin has transformed tremendously!
Samantha
She takes the time to explain your options as well as come up with a long-term plan for you... I now feel empowered to treat myself and take care of my skin.
Helen
She always takes the time to assess my skin's needs and customize my facial treatments. Since I started regular facials and treatments with Sophie my skin has been glowing.
Nick
My face was noticeably healthy looking and people said I was 'glowing' when I finished... Might I add that I drove an hour to get there and I will gladly drive there again.
Skin care FAQ’s
-
If you have sensitive, reactive, or acne prone skin, we suggest visiting us for the first time 10+ days in advance of your event.
If you’re looking to improve your skin before your wedding, read more here.
-
Most clients schedule facials every 4-6 weeks, though we may recommend more frequent treatments initially. Your plan depends on your skin and goals.
-
Prescription topicals (tretinoin, Retin-A, Differin, etc.): Pause use 7 days before your facial. More time may be needed.
Accutane (isotretinoin): You must be off the medication for at least 6 months before we can safely treat you.
Our policy is not medical advice. Please follow your doctor’s recommendations.

Sometimes. Purging happens when active ingredients bring underlying congestion to the surface faster—it's ultimately a good sign that your skin is clearing out. It’s temporary, typically lasting 1-4 weeks.
This is why we don't recommend starting aggressive treatments right before an event. If you have a wedding or important date coming up, let us know so we can time treatments strategically.
-
Yes, but we recommend gentler, event-prep facials (like our Bridal Dermaplane) rather than deep resurfacing treatments in the weeks leading up.
If this is your first facial with us, don't wait until the month of your event—start at least 2-3 months out so we can address any concerns and ensure your skin responds well. Learn more about bridal skincare

Most introductory facials require 48 hours of gentle care—no makeup, sweating, or active skincare ingredients. Your skin may be slightly red immediately after, but this typically fades within a few hours.
Redness lasting beyond a day is usually from extractions. If you have an event coming up or have to be in-office, let us know and we'll adjust the level of extractions accordingly.
For event-prep facials, there's minimal downtime and you can wear makeup the next day.
